COOP Norway switched from plastic packaging to cardboard packaging

Coop Norway switched from plastic packaging to cardboard packaging on fresh berries and reduced plastic consumption by 77 tons. This was posted on the company’s website.

At the same time, the shelf life of the products has been improved and food waste has been reduced.

After cutting the consumption of 268 tons of plastic in total, Coop Norway has also been nominated for the «Award for Durability of Plastløftets for 2021».
